Ondoso is a wavy chevron woven with space-dyed yarns, so the zig-zag undulates rather than snaps, and the colour shifts along each yarn as it travels through the weave. The result is a geometric with the softness of a watercolour, movement in both the line and the dye.
It is woven in Italy from cotton and viscose with polyester and linen, 140 centimetres wide and genuinely heavy at 720 grams per square metre.
Rated at 20,000 Martindale rubs, it serves domestic chairs, stools and cushions well, and its weight gives curtains a deep, sculptural fold.
