Pagelle wallpaper sets stylised floral posies and leafy trails within a subtle ogee framework, printed on coloured grounds that reproduce the texture of antique linen. The ogee gives the paper a gentle architecture, so it reads as a trellis of flowers rather than a scattered floral, and the tinted, textured ground makes the whole wall look like cloth. It is the most tailored of the Dauphine florals.

Printed in the United Kingdom on a 52 centimetre wide roll of 9 metres, with a compact 22 centimetre straight-match repeat that is economical and easy to hang. It carries the European B-s1,d0 fire classification and the American ASTM E-84 Class A rating. The finish is matt.

Four colourways, each named for its ground and each matching the Pagelle fabric: Aqua is soft and watery; Green is a mossy sage; Denim is a muted mid-blue; Red is deep and warm, and the one that transforms a small dark room into something deliberate. Because the design is small in scale and ordered, Pagelle suits a cloakroom, a dressing room, a corridor or a guest bedroom, and it is particularly good above a painted dado. With the matching fabric on a chair or at the window it makes a fully dressed room with very little effort; with plain linen it is quieter and more contemporary. The linen texture in the print gives Pagelle a softer, more forgiving surface than a flat-printed paper, and it hides minor wall imperfections well. It suits a traditional room, but hung in a modern cloakroom with plain painted joinery below it looks surprisingly current.
