Peggy takes a river landscape, gondoliers slipping between trees and bridges, and prints it as a continuous scene, so the cloth reads as a view rather than a repeat. The design is named after Peggy Guggenheim, and there is something of the grand tour in its unhurried, illustrated manner.

It is printed in the United Kingdom on pure cotton finished with a light chintz glaze, which lends the surface a soft sheen and a crisp hand. The cloth is 140 centimetres wide and a usable mid-weight at 230 grams per square metre.

With a Martindale rating of 35,000 rubs it stands up to everyday upholstery, and it makes generous curtains, where the scenic drawing has room to unfold.
