Salix is a willow stripe with an ombre effect, the foliage arranged in vertical bands whose colour deepens and pales as it moves, so the stripe seems lit from within rather than ruled onto the wall. The willow drawing softens the geometry, and the ombre keeps the surface changing as the eye travels across it.

It is made in the United Kingdom. As with all leafy stripes, it draws a room taller while keeping it gentle, which suits bedrooms, bathrooms, landings and sitting rooms, and it is a considerate background paper, giving furniture and pictures something living to stand against without insisting on itself.
