Nina Campbell | Wisteria Walk

Wisteria Walk is a painterly design of climbing wisteria, the racemes rendered in loose, impressionistic brushwork so the flowers seem mid-movement, caught rather than arranged. The drawing flows in a way a tighter botanical never quite manages, and the pattern keeps that softness at any distance.

It is printed in the United Kingdom on a lightweight pure linen, 140 centimetres wide at 160 grams per square metre, which drapes with exactly the ease the brushwork implies.

This is a cloth for curtains and blinds first, where the climbing design can fall in soft folds; its 8,000 rub rating keeps upholstery to occasional pieces, a bedroom chair, a dressing stool, cushions.
