Abacus Damask is a two-tone satin damask with a silky appearance, a slightly more classic gesture, the pattern emerging from the contrast between the matt and lustrous faces of the weave rather than from colour.
Woven in Italy from a single synthetic yarn, it is 136 centimetres wide and 45.6gsm. Without a published abrasion result it is best kept to curtains and blinds, where the satin ground catches the light down the length of a fold and the damask reads quietly across a room.
