Ananda Plain is a soft chenille with a subtle twill weave, a plain in name but not in surface: the diagonal structure catches light gently and the chenille fills it with warmth. It is a supporting cloth of the most useful kind, giving depth without pattern.
Woven in Italy entirely from polyester at 400 grams per metre, it carries a stain-resistant finish and a rub test of 80,000, far beyond the threshold for serious upholstery service and strong enough for contract use. Specify it for the hardest-working sofas, dining chairs and public-facing seating, with the 143cm width also cutting for curtains and loose covers.
