Andes is a marled bouclé, its looped yarns spun from mixed tones so the surface flickers between colours rather than settling on one. The texture is the design here: irregular, tactile and deep, with the density of a good winter coat.
Woven in Italy from wool with polyester, linen and cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide and a substantial 790gsm. A rub test result of 70,000 makes it a proper working upholstery cloth, suited to sofas and armchairs in daily use, where the bouclé's give and spring are best appreciated.
