Armadale is a plain jacquard, its surface given a quiet woven interest so a single colour carries texture without pattern. It is the kind of cloth that disappears politely into a scheme and holds it steady.
The weave is 100 per cent polyester on a 140cm width at around 64gsm. A rub result of 25,000 suits it to general domestic upholstery, occasional chairs, headboards, window seats, and it is equally intended for drapery, where the jacquard surface gives the folds a soft, even depth.
