Osborne & Little | Aura

Aura is a two-tone stripe woven as a twill in pure linen, the diagonal grain of the weave crossing the stripe and softening its edges. The name belongs to the divine personification of the breeze, and the cloth suits it: dry-handled, quietly rhythmic, made to move.

Woven in Italy from 100 per cent linen, it comes on a generous 294 centimetre width at 285gsm, allowing full-height curtains to be made without seams. There is no rub test, so it belongs at the window, in curtains and blinds that let the stripe fall in long, unbroken lines.
