Osborne & Little | Babur

Babur fills the cloth with exotic tropical birds amid contrasting foliage, printed on pure cotton so the drawing keeps its fine edges. It is named after Zahir ud-din Muhammad Babur, founder of the Moghul Empire.

The ground is 100 per cent cotton, printed in Austria on a 140cm width. A rub result of 16,000 places it with lighter domestic use, cushions, occasional chairs and the like, while curtains and blinds give the design its fullest run. A pattern this pictorial needs little around it; plains nearby let the birds do the talking.
