Balyan is a small-scale geometry of interlocking cubes, printed on cotton, and at ordinary distances it behaves like a texture: an even, all-over pattern that gives a surface quiet interest without demanding attention.

The cloth is 100 per cent cotton, printed in the United Kingdom on a 140cm width at around 46gsm. A rub result of 86,000 is a seriously hard-wearing figure, so this small print can be put to work on sofas, chairs and stools in daily use as readily as on curtains, blinds and loose covers.
