Osborne & Little | Bark Velvet

Bark Velvet is a plain velvet with a horizontal grain resembling the bark of a tree, the pile broken into irregular ridges so a single colour carries the depth and shadow of a natural surface.

It is woven in Belgium from viscose with a little polyester, 92 and 8 per cent, on a 138cm width at a substantial 99gsm. A rub result of 75,000 makes it a thoroughly hard-wearing velvet, entirely at home on sofas, chairs and stools in constant use, and the barked texture gives cushions and curtains a depth that a flat pile cannot offer.
