Calathea repeats a stylised leaf into a geometric ogee, a soft textural weave in which the botanical and the architectural meet halfway, pattern with structure but no hard edges.
Woven in Italy entirely from polypropylene, it is 143 centimetres wide and 500gsm. A rub test result of 40,000 supports general domestic upholstery, so it works on sofas and chairs in regular use, and the robust fibre shrugs off the ordinary knocks of a busy room.
