Osborne & Little | Canaletto

Canaletto is a beaded horizontal stripe, another of the patterns the collection takes from Renaissance architecture, the line broken into small repeated units so the stripe reads with texture and rhythm rather than as a flat band.

The weave is viscose, polyester and cotton, 60, 25 and 15 per cent, on a 138cm width at around 84gsm. An abrasion result of 110,000 rubs puts it at the hardest-working end of upholstery service, fit for sofas and seating in constant use, and as the stripe is woven horizontally it sits naturally across chair seats and can be run to advantage on curtains.
