Osborne & Little | Carmina

Carmina is a leopard design woven as a jacquard velvet and overlaid with a multi-coloured print, the spots sitting on a tiny chequerboard ground that reads as texture from any distance. Pattern is layered on pattern, yet the small scale of both keeps the cloth composed rather than busy.

Made in Germany from polyester and viscose at 442 grams per metre, it has the soft, low-relief surface of a patterned velvet. A rub test of 30,000 suits it to domestic upholstery, occasional chairs, stools and headboards, and at 148cm wide it cuts generously for cushions, blinds and curtains.
