Castillo is a jacquard paisley drawn with a contemporary hand, the motifs fitted together with the precision of marquetry, pattern that reads as inlaid rather than printed. The scale is generous but the effect is ordered, closer to cabinetwork than to shawl.
Woven in India from viscose, polyester and cotton at 565 grams per metre, it is a substantial cloth with the smooth, slightly lustrous face viscose brings to a jacquard. It is a dual-purpose cloth, suited to both curtains and upholstery, and the 136cm width cuts well for chairs, cushions and full-length drapery alike.
