Woven in India from pure cotton at 562 grams per metre, it has the dense, matt handle of a true cotton velvet. A rub test of 45,000 clears the mark for serious upholstery service, making it dependable on sofas, chairs and stools in daily use, and the 138cm width also cuts for cushions, headboards and curtains.
