Osborne & Little | Cervo

Cervo carries ornate tile motifs embroidered in viscose across a cotton and linen ground, the stitching sitting slightly proud of the cloth so that the pattern has real relief. It takes its name from an ancient hill town in Liguria, and the motifs have the worn formality of old tilework.

Embroidered in India on a base of viscose, linen and cotton, it is 131 centimetres wide and 365gsm. There is no rub test, so it is best used where the stitching is admired rather than sat upon: curtains and blinds that show the tiles at full height.
