Chantilly Stripe reinterprets the famous lace as a stripe, the openwork pattern carried in bands down the cloth so the delicacy of lace is held inside the discipline of a stripe.

The cloth is woven from cotton and linen, 75 and 25 per cent, on a 134cm width at around 48gsm. It is listed for both curtains and upholstery; its weight and the fineness of the lacework favour curtains, blinds, cushions and occasional chairs, where the detail can be read at close range and the stripe gives the whole its vertical order.
