Charades sets mid-scale zigzag rectangles across the cloth, woven with a sculpted effect so the pattern stands slightly proud of the ground and the geometry reads in texture as much as in tone.
Woven in Italy from a single synthetic yarn, it is 142 centimetres wide and 42.7gsm. With a rub test result of 15,000 it is a decorative cloth, for curtains, blinds and cushions rather than seating, where the zigzag can run uninterrupted and the relief comes alive in raking light.
