Osborne & Little | Chimayo

Chimayo takes its cue from Navajo weaving, a dramatic geometric jacquard of striped, repeating hexagonal forms picked out in couched embroidery. The couching lays thread over thread, so the geometry stands physically proud of the cloth and the pattern arrives with texture built in.

Made in India from a blend of viscose, linen and polyester with other yarns at 451 grams per metre, it has a firm, textural handle with the raised embroidery above it. It suits both curtains and upholstery where the stitching is respected: headboards, occasional chairs, cushions and full-length drapery, with the 138cm width shaping well around furniture.
