Osborne & Little | Chitera

Chitera is a trellis of interlocking six-pointed stars and hexagons, a geometry with an Islamic clarity to it, the two shapes locking together so the eye can follow either and the pattern never quite settles into one reading. It is named after an Indian jewellery designer.

The weave blends viscose, cotton and polyester with a little linen, woven in Turkey on a 136cm width at a substantial 93gsm. A rub result of 35,000 suits regular domestic upholstery, chairs, headboards, window seats, and the star lattice gives curtains and blinds a firm architectural order.
