Chrysler prints stylised Art Deco leaves on cotton, their pointed, radiating forms recalling the spire of the Chrysler Building, part of the New York skyline since 1930. The repeat has the confident rhythm of the period without its heaviness.
Printed in Italy on pure cotton, it is 140 centimetres wide and 30.8gsm. A rub test result of 32,000 suits it to curtains, blinds, cushions and occasional chairs rather than daily-use seating, and the architectural repeat rewards a long, uninterrupted drop.
