Cocoon is a weave of fine stripes built from narrow diamonds, the colours set in subtle contrast so that the pattern hovers between stripe and texture. It is precise, small-scale work, the kind of cloth that rewards a second look without ever demanding one.
Woven from polyester and silk with viscose and acrylic, it is 132 centimetres wide, with a listed weight of 40.1gsm, the silk lending a fine thread of lustre to the diamonds. There is no rub test, so it is a cloth for curtains and blinds, where its narrow geometry can run cleanly down the drop.
