Cornelia forms a trellis reminiscent of a garden parterre, drawn in cut velvet and epinglé against a satin ground, so three depths of surface, looped pile, cut pile and smooth satin, define the pattern between them.
Woven in India from cotton and viscose with acrylic, it is 128 centimetres wide and 536gsm. A rub test result of 50,000 comfortably supports general domestic upholstery, chairs, stools and sofas in regular use, and the satin ground gives curtains a soft lustre as they fold.
