Dana is a pure linen woven with a delicate crosshatch, the fine intersecting lines giving the cloth the surface of a pencil study rather than a printed pattern. It is quiet, textural work — the kind of fabric that reads as a plain until the light rakes across it.
Woven in Italy from 100 per cent linen, it comes on an exceptional 314 centimetre width, with a listed weight of 65.5gsm, so full-height curtains can be made without a single seam. There is no rub test, and it is intended for exactly that: curtains and blinds, hung long and generous.
