Darari Stripe alternates a herringbone stripe with a slimmer accent stripe on an ivory ground, the chevroned texture of the herringbone keeping the geometry soft and cloth-like rather than drawn.
Woven in Turkey from pure linen, it comes in a generous 305 centimetre width and weighs 203gsm, so full-length curtains can be railroaded or made with few seams. It is a cloth for the window, where the stripes fall in long, ordered lines down the drop and the linen brings its easy, natural crumple.
