Dario sets asymmetric vertical stripes against horizontal bands of cut velvet, the two directions crossing to make a modern interplay of line and texture. The cut pile lifts the horizontals into relief, so the grid is built from shadow as much as colour.
Made in Germany from blended man-made yarns at 350 grams per metre, it is a lighter velvet-effect cloth with a supple handle and an easy fall. A rub test of 35,000 makes it dependable for domestic upholstery, occasional chairs, stools and headboards, and the 143cm width also cuts for cushions, blinds and curtains.
