Donard is a tonal colour-woven linen with a deliberately relaxed feel, its colour built from close tones in the weave rather than a single flat dye, so the surface has quiet movement without ever becoming a pattern.
It is woven in Italy in 100 per cent linen on a 141cm width at around 63gsm. A rub result of 30,000 suits regular domestic upholstery, chairs, stools and window seats in daily use, and it makes easy, unfussy curtains, blinds and loose covers, the sort of cloth that lowers a room's temperature rather than raising it.
