Dromore is a versatile washable plain woven with a cross-hatch strié linen effect, the fine broken lines giving the surface the dry character of the natural fibre. It is named after a market town in Northern Ireland at the heart of the linen-producing region.
Woven in India from pure polyester, it is 140 centimetres wide and weighs 55.6gsm. With a rub test result of 18,000 it is best used for curtains, blinds and cushions, where its washability makes it an easy cloth to live with.
