Osborne & Little | Ellington

Ellington sets rows of dissected ovals across the cloth, one half of each picked out in colour against a neutral partner. The effect is syncopated and rhythmic, which suits a design named after the bandleader Duke Ellington; the pattern keeps time without ever insisting on itself.

Woven in Morocco from viscose with a little polyamide, it is 137 centimetres wide and 68.9gsm. A rub test result of 33,000 suits it to lighter domestic upholstery, occasional chairs, cushions and headboards, and it makes handsome curtains where the repeat can run uninterrupted down the drop.
