Osborne & Little | Eriskay

Eriskay is a textured semi-plain with a shot effect, achieved not with a contrast warp but with space-dyed yarns, so the colour shifts gently along the cloth rather than flipping between two tones. The result is a plain that moves, its surface changing with the angle of the light.

The weave is 70 per cent viscose and 30 per cent linen on a generous 146cm width. An abrasion result of 113,000 rubs makes it a genuinely hard-wearing cloth, at ease on sofas and chairs in daily use, while the linen content keeps the texture dry and natural for curtains and loose covers.
