Espalier is a playful multi-coloured horizontal stripe punctuated with lines of dots, woven so the pattern has an artisanal, hand-loomed character rather than printed crispness. The dots break the run of the stripe and keep the eye moving across the width.
Woven in Belgium from viscose, linen and cotton, it is 144 centimetres wide and 630gsm, with a notably soft drape for its weight. A Martindale result of 90,000 makes it genuinely dual purpose: curtains that fall generously, and upholstery that stands up to daily use.
