Faloria runs a space-dyed wool slub yarn both vertically and horizontally across a chevron ground, the two directions crossing to form a window-pane check whose lines shift softly in tone along their length.
Woven in Italy from viscose, cotton and linen with polyester, acrylic and wool, it is 140 centimetres wide and a substantial 620gsm. With a rub test result of 25,000 it is best used decoratively, on cushions, occasional chairs and headboards, or in curtains where its weight settles into deep, warm folds.
