Fan-Tan is a jacquard of silky, stylised petals set in ordered rows, the lustre of the weave lifting each petal slightly from its ground so the pattern reads as a soft shimmer of repetition.
Woven in Italy from a single synthetic yarn, it is 142 centimetres wide and 42.5gsm. With a rub test result of 13,000 it is a decorative cloth, for curtains, blinds and cushions rather than seating, where the petal rows fall into rhythm down the drop.
