Favo raises a honeycomb of velvet cells above a textural cotton twill ground, so the pattern is felt as much as seen, the pile sitting proud of the flatter weave beneath.
Woven in India from cotton and viscose with polyester, it is 140 centimetres wide and 666gsm. With a rub test result of 30,000 it is best kept to curtains, cushions and lighter upholstery, occasional chairs rather than the family sofa, where the relief of the honeycomb can be enjoyed without hard wear.
