Gazel is a flamestitch printed onto a herringbone weave of linen and cotton, the zigzag pattern and the ribbed ground working together for a highly textured effect. The name comes from a form of Turkish music.
Printed in the United Kingdom on a cloth of linen and cotton with polyamide, it is 140 centimetres wide and weighs 39.9gsm. A rub test result of 58,000 suits it to chairs and sofas in regular use, and the linen-rich ground drapes well for curtains.
