Glebe is a tiny chequerboard chenille, its squares interrupted by contrasting flashes of colour, so the surface reads as a soft, even texture with an occasional spark rather than a pattern that announces itself.
Woven in Italy from viscose, cotton and polyester with linen, it is 142 centimetres wide and 99.8gsm. With a rub test result of 30,000 it is best used decoratively, on curtains, blinds, cushions and occasional chairs, where the softness of the chenille pile is the point.
