Hakami is a vertical stripe semi-sheer printed with small irregular blocks of colour, the broken intervals giving the stripe a hand-placed, almost mosaic quality. Against the light the blocks read like fragments of stained glass suspended in the weave.
Printed in Turkey on a cloth of polyester with linen and viscose, it comes on a generous 279 centimetre width at 107gsm, for unseamed drops. As a semi-sheer it is intended for curtains and blinds only, where daylight can pass through the stripe and animate its irregular rhythm.
