Hammam depicts the square glass tiles of a Middle Eastern bathhouse, the grid softened by the slight variation that hand-set tiles always carry. Each square reads as a small pane, so the wall has the watery, light-holding quality of the rooms that inspired it.

Tile effects give a wall order without hardness, and this one carries its association naturally into bathrooms, shower rooms and cloakrooms, though it works equally well in a hall or kitchen. It sits comfortably with stone, timber and simple textiles. A 150gsm paper, made in the United Kingdom.
