Ledoux is a small-scale hexagonal épinglé, the looped pile drawing a neat honeycomb of texture across the cloth. It takes its name from Claude Nicolas Ledoux, one of the earliest exponents of French neo-classical architecture.
Woven in Germany from cotton, polyester and viscose with linen, it is 146 centimetres wide and weighs 85.2gsm. A rub test result of 85,000 makes it a genuinely hard-working cloth, well suited to sofas and chairs in daily use, the small hexagons reading as an even texture across larger pieces.
