Osborne & Little | Limpopo

Limpopo is a crocodile design cut in velvet, the scaled pattern drawn into the pile so the surface shifts between texture and pattern as the light moves across it. It reads from a distance as a rich semi-plain, from close to as skin.

The cloth is 100 per cent polyester velvet on a 138cm width at around 60gsm. A rub result of 60,000 makes it a genuinely hard-wearing velvet, fit for sofas, chairs and stools in daily service, and the design gives smaller pieces, an ottoman, a pair of cushions, a concentrated dose of character.
