Lorimer is a faux leather with a soft handle and a lightly textured surface, its colours drawn from traditional leatherwork, so it reads as saddlery rather than gloss, a working material with an old-trade character.

The construction is 100 per cent polyester on a 140cm width at around 91gsm. A Martindale result of 46,000 makes it a proper hard-wearing upholstery material, suited to dining chairs, benches, stools and headboards in daily use, and the supple hand lets it upholster curved and buttoned shapes more gracefully than stiffer coated cloths.
