Lotto is a semi-plain curtaining cloth with the appearance of a shimmering tweed, the workaday character of the weave lifted by a low, even light across its surface.
Woven in Italy from a single synthetic yarn, it is 145 centimetres wide and 39.6gsm. With a rub test result of 30,000 it is best used at the window, in curtains and blinds, and it may also be used as fabric walling in a suitably prepared room, where its tweedy shimmer makes a quietly enveloping background.
