Lulworth is a plain faux suede, an even, matt nap with no pattern at all, named after the famous beauty spot on Dorset's Jurassic Coast. Its virtue is the quiet one of a good background: colour and touch, nothing else.
Made in China entirely from polyester, it is 143 centimetres wide and 66gsm. A rub test result of 100,000 makes it an exceptionally hard-working cloth, the sort to specify for sofas, dining chairs and banquettes that are used every day and expected to last.
