Mabula is a faux crocodile, the scaled texture drawn at a believable size so the surface reads as skin rather than novelty. As with most animal textures it behaves like a plain at a distance and rewards a closer look.
The cloth is woven in France entirely in Trevira CS, giving it inherent flame retardance, on a 130cm width. A rub result of 8,000 keeps it to decorative rather than working duties: curtains, blinds, cushions and panels, where the texture can be enjoyed without being sat upon, and contract settings where the FR specification earns its place.
