Markham Wool is a tonal herringbone enlivened with flecks of multi-coloured yarn, so the tailored order of the weave carries small, irregular sparks of colour, cloth with the character of good tweed.
Woven in the United Kingdom from wool with viscose and polyamide, it is 138 centimetres wide and 79.6gsm. A Martindale result of 100,000 makes it a genuinely hard-working cloth, suited to sofas and chairs in daily use, and it hangs with the dry, warm authority that only a wool curtain has.
