Marquisette Trevira is a shimmering satin woven on a wide width, 307cm, so full-height curtains and bedcovers can generally be made without seams and the sheen runs unbroken across the drop.
It is woven entirely in Trevira CS, which brings two practical virtues: the flame retardance is inherent to the yarn rather than applied, and the cloth is washable, making it as much at home in contract interiors as domestic ones. The satin face takes the light softly, so the effect is a glow rather than a glitter.
