Moreton is a simple basket weave structure woven with slub yarns, so the honest geometry of the weave is roughened pleasingly by the irregular thickness of the thread. It is woven with flame-retardant yarns and is inherently flame-retardant, not merely treated.
Woven in Turkey from modacrylic with polyamide, flame-retardant polyester and cotton, it is 140 centimetres wide and a substantial 720gsm. A rub test result of 50,000 comfortably supports everyday domestic upholstery, and its inherent fire performance makes it equally at ease in contract settings.
